Luria de
Energias (LDE) is a joint venture company in Madrid to develop,
operate and commercialize wind parks in Spain, especially in
Guadalajara and BurgosMain shareholders are: Santaolalla S.A.,
Alabe SA, Pecher
S.A., Eolicas Llirapa S.L. and Wintus Iberica S.A. The 4 partners
besides Alabe concentrated their interest in Luria de Inversiones
(LDI), holding 80% share in Luria de Energias.
LDE has permitted wind parks in
Guadalajara.
This is the table concerning the present projects of wind parks
in Guadalajara (Spain)
1º phase: El Chaparro 40 MW and El Guijo 40 MW
2º phase: Los Barranquetes and los Bancales with 80 Mw.
Besides, Luria had signed collaboration agreement for wind
resources research with the municipalities of: SaucaTortonda, Laranueva,
Torremocha del Campo, Maranchon, Anquela del Ducado, Algora, Estriégana,
Mazarete and Selas.
In the third quarter of 2003 ca. 80 MW will be realized in several
phases of ca. 40 MW each. They will feed electricity into a new power line
to be built by a consortium of 6 wind farms promoters (Iberdrola, Endesa,
Unión Fenosa, Neg-Micon, Ag. Tudelana and Luria) from Fuentes de la Alcarria
to Maranchón. Machines and plant features will have modern technology
with big turbines of min. 1,5 MW to evaluate wind energy best
possible with the lowest number of turbines. This helps to protect
environment, increases efficiency and forms an installation which
should keep it’s modern character during the next 20 years. In 2003,
whether the support of the regional authorities and of APRECAM
(Regional Asociation of Wind Fams promoters) is obtained, a
Research site is planed for three turbines to be built with tower
heights of 65, 90 and 120 m hub height, equipped with identical
turbines. This is to prove that per meter vertical height additional
0,7 to 1,2% output can be gained depending on site conditions. Towers
beyond 100 m hub height will be built locally with pre stressed
concrete design based on modern
German
technology. Experience collected here shall qualify a good
machine selection to be found in second quarter 2003. Machines will
have specially designed features to get best efficiency in altitudes
of 1.100 to 1.300 m above sea level.
